Welcome to the University High School DHH Cheer website.

The UHS DHH Cheerleaders are a dedicated and disciplined group of girls. DHH Cheer is a great experience that not only helps build cheer and dance skills, but also organization, teamwork, leadership, self-discipline and friendships. The Orange County Department of Education Deaf and Hard of Hearing High School Program is located in Irvine at University High School.  This Regionalized DHH program serves 120 Deaf and Hard of Hearing students living in 28 school districts throughout Orange County.  Students have the opportunity to be mainstreamed in general education classes with their hearing peers or to spend most of their day in special classes designed for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. It is nationally recognized as one of the top academic programs for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
