Coach Emily
This is her 2nd year working with the UHS DHH
Cheerleaders. Last year she helped the team earn 3rd place in the annual DHH Cheerleading/Dance Tournament.
In Junior High and High School she was a cheerleader
representing her school with a positive attitude, tons of spirit and wonderful talent.
Last year, Emily moved to California from Wisconsin
and began working for University High School's Deaf & Hard of Hearing Department as a Para-Educator. In the near future
she hopes to become a successful interpreter for the DHH at Uni. She loves to play soccer & her favorite colors are blue
and purple & she loves working with the DHH Cheerleaders!!!

She has been on the United Spirit Association Dance/Drill
Staff since 2000 instructing high school & junior high team summer camps, officer camps, one-day clinics and
judging camps/competitions in the Western United States. She has taught half time show routines for the Seattle SeaHawks,
Portland TrailBlazers, and LA Clippers. Along with USA she teaches at competitive studios; including Suzanne's Dance Factory
in Mission Viejo & Laguna Niguel, and is the Coach for Aliso Niguel High School's Drill Team..
As a USA camper Coach Alisha was chosen
Miss Supersensational for Western WA for 3 years, USA Super Dancer at Jazz Camp in Santa Barbara for 1 year, and the UDA WA
State All-Star Officer for 1 year.
Alisha and her husband, Holland, moved
to Lake Forest, CA from Seattle, WA where her husband was stationed during his term as an Army Ranger Sniper. She
is currently a substitute para-educator at Uni. Along with coaching she will be working towards becoming a
certified American Sign Language Interpreter for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing by 2007. Next Spring, she plans on attending
Cal. State Univ. Northridge to earn a Bachelors Degree in Deaf Studies and Teaching Credentials. Her favorite colors
are yellow and hot pink.
